Hello, does anyone know if there is (or coming) a simple time time tracking application for Maemo5 / Nokia N900?

I'm a design consultant and bill my clients hourly. I would like to track the time spend on each project and subproject. Many layers, consultants etc have same needs.

Here's a list of minimum needs:
- Start/Stop clock feature
- Multiple tasks/projects and subprojects running concurrently (I can not do many projects at the same time time, but my pc can
- Ability to switch between projets quickly (like this: press projects name to active mode)
- No Web based services. Not interested in paying a monthly subscription
- Export in CSV

There is similar applications for Blackberry. They have much much more features, but basic needs are above.

TImr seems to have also Android -version (open beta)

I found there is GPE-Timesheet -project, but it seems to be paused or something.

I believe this kind of application have customers specially in small companies, freelancers etc.

I believe the TimeSheet application for Garnet VM does exactly what you specify. Unfortunately there's no Maemo app that does the same, for now. On the other hand the GVM app runs just fine. http://www.jsankey.com/software/timesheet/timesheet.htm

For Garnet Virtual Machine on the N900, see this thread.

Thank you, GVM seems to have necessary specifications. Unfortunately I am a dedicated Nokia user since 1996 and now interested in N900...

Huh? GVM runs on the Nokia N900. So what's the misfortune?

(You'll find, though, that Maemo is not Symbian.)

Thanks GerardKo, that seems to be worth trying. However, a native application would be better after all, I think.

I just bought the n900, loving it so far. I need a Time sheet / Time tracking app. I was looking around and I found an app that does Time Tracking.

I did not book mark it, I have been looking for the past hour, I can not find the app.

Is there any app out there for the N900 that lets me keep track of time?

I came from Android and Blackberry. There is a free app call
"Timecatcher" from from Intuit which I love, are there anything out there in the Maemo world?

Thanks

There's GPE Timesheet, but I don't know how good it is. Link: http://my-meego.com/software/applica...uto=847&faq=39
It should be available right there in the application manager though.
