I have an MKV file containing H.264 704x480 and AC-3 (the latter should be fine as long as I have Decoders Support installed).

OpenMAX doesn't accept the video stream.
As you can see, the video stream is 704x480 AVC High Profile @ level 4. I just want to know what are AVC profiles and levels that IVA2+ can decode? I lurked all over http://ti.com but couldn't find any relevant info except 720p support (for ASP, obviously?).

Only H.264 baseline profile is supported by the openmax h264 dsp decoder. None of the other H.264 profiles are from what I remember.

I see, only baseline. Means no CABAC and no B-frames.
