I have never heard of Symbian being installed on an N810 before. Are you sure about this?

hi martin, you can definitely install os2008 (diablo) by flashing, if your device is not defective in some way. easiest would be with a usb connection to a windows pc, imo. check the wiki. the n810 is an amazing device, you won't regret getting it (i hope).

If it's really an N810, flashing with OS 2008 poses no problem, regardless of what is currently installed, so long as there is nothing wrong with the N810's hardware. However, as fnordianslip implied, there is no such thing as an N810 running Symbian. So something is strange.

There were some knock-off n810's being sold - though with a knock-off incompatible OS that looked like symbian (it was probably MTK). Which country did you get the device from?
