Just a heads up guys, Test 2 is out! The Drop test...

http://www.tehkseven.net/news/nokia-...00-drop-tests/

See what happens when the N900 is dropped on grass, gravel, and concrete!

I'm not that bothered if the screen is scratchable as long as it is polishable. It looks about right, too hard can be problematic.

Just a heads up, we split the video into 2 (which makes total sense.. not sure why we didn't do that in the first place).

So, that long rant is taken out of the scratch test video, giving you guys exactly what you want to see

Hope this video, and future stress test videos will help you guys out in one way or another!

Pocket simulation and drop test vids coming tomorrow!
hey man love your video Was a nice test. But bugger you got a dead pixel damn.

I'm impressed how much the N900 can take.

would be nice if they coated the Screen and make it a bit tougher to scratch and keep the same thickness

my device has been scratched pretty much when compared to usage.

and scratches must be from my nails, havent used stylus or anything else.

so i strongly suggest a screen protector....

Here is your solution:

Do not drop it!
Accidents happen, for those, there is insurance. (If you're stupid when you're drunk, do not carry it with you!)

Do not use it with key!!!
I don't think that my fingers are going to hurt it.

And last but not the least, do not put anything with it when it's in your pocket. Come on!!! I have never put anything to my pocket when my *** sucking N73 was there. Because it's easy and faster to pick up your phone when someone calls, when you don't have to search where the hell is it. Oh, and if you don't mind having a small pack in your belt, get one!
