Your best bet is usb=>ethernet, works great with a Linkys USB100m.
Just grab the usbnet package http://p7230.homelinux.com/os2008/us....4.6_armel.deb and http://p7230.homelinux.com/os2008/db....0.3_armel.deb so that it automatically connects when you plug it in. I use it with my N810s. Obviously you'll need an appropriate USB OTG cable and a compatible usb=>ethernet NIC.
If you have questions or if this is not an option let us know

I have a CAR PC with bigger touchscreen and would like to use N800 as smaller touchscreen frontend to it (I use Centrafuse frontend SW on car pc).
When I have N800 and CARPC on my desk and N800 connects to CARPC over access point using rdesktop app - it works beautifully.
Now I'd like to achieve the same in car environment with no access point - just adhoc connection from n800 to car pc's wireless adapter.
Options:
- USB networking is not an option - if I understood right that it won't work in Diablo and Winxp on carpc - am I right ?
- the only chance is adhoc network, but there is also important limitation:
carpc also connects to my home Wifi LAN and has to have default gateway specified to be able to conect to my LAN.
Now I don't know how to configure N800, so I could access CARPC in adhoc network with its IP. Now, N800 seems to get connected to CARPC in adhoc network, but rdesktop doesn't work - it seems that IP setup is not working....
Anyone with more insight or advice how to setup such network or how to handle situation better ?
Thanks in advance,
regards,
bulek.
