i was out doing a bit of xmas shopping today and thought id try out the video recording on my N900 and although the video isnt amazing the sound i think is very impressive. Im loving this phone , I was quite happy with my Nokia n97 but this thing just blows it away.

N900 video is ok, just needs a couple of software tweaks and it will be excellent (image stabilization & 25fps without dropped frames). The hardware is definitely there.

is it possible through a soft fix? That would be great, but I doubt it.

I think it will get improved with firmware updates for sure , the one thing that i feel has let down phones is the sound quality when shooting video and i have to say this is the best ive used so far. I think the photo's are good as well you just have to make sure you focus properly.

I hope they fix it the fps drops are really annoying and i think if we'd be able to record in a lower resolution those frame drops wouldnt be there
