My status still says ready for despatch.... has done since wednesday
The N900 has no problems
- apart from the obvious battery suckage! - back on charge - but has survived from 12:30 today until now being used almost solidly - and still had about 20% left on it.So about 6.5 hours at full wack - multiple apps, videos, music and lots of forum posting + 1 45 minute phone call

yeah you should have yours by now.... it does look like they did something odd though...
It looks like orders have come from 3 or 4 stores only.... so there is still a chance that the store yours is coming from ran out.... - but doesnt excuse them for not shipping the early orders first still...
Possibly something about the type of orcer, contract, etc etc i mean the easiest to ship are the sim free's, then new contratct's/payg's and then probably last is the numbers to be ported ones....
Again, even saying that i think some of those people have them already.
How many t-mobile order'ees have their phones already?
I was voda and late sept - does seem the voda orders came out quite quick.

i ordered it on voda 34.26 a month 300 mins, unlimited txts, unlimited internet........does anyone know if the bills will go back up when the vat rate goes up as mine said 2.5% off line rental......is that for the whole contract

I believe that is how it got all out of order, but I still think that is a poor excuse. I have never known ANYWHERE have to re-auth my debit card before, the order basically stays "pending" until the item is in stock.
They cannot use a credit check as an excuse as I am already pre-authed with T-Mobile for 5 lines with them and currently have 2. So the only doubt is if I had the money on the day, which I could have lied anyway so calling me did not solve anything.
On the one hand I do think its quite good of them to call and warn you that they are about to bill you. On the other hand I wouldn't care, as like any logical person I set aside that amount of funds ready for them to bill me.

I too think they're just getting through them as quickly and possible, no matter what the date or network etc. I called one of their today, and the guy said they are getting through tons of N900 orders, and mine will just be done when its done. I just hope its soon.

So, most people who's status is "ready to dispatch" and has been since thurs/friday *should* receive their N900's on Monday/Tuesday, right?
I really hope so, I drove from uni in Bath to Cornwall(4 hours!!) (home address) to wait in the house on Monday and Tuesday to sign for it, as no-one else would be here - If its not here by Tuesday I'm gonna have to wait weeks as I am gonna have to go back up for lectures!!

Oh, well also I see my family...haha
