I got my N900 yesterday and have been pleasantly surprised. The forums had me prepared for the worst.

I posted my MfE question in the exchange thread and that has been the only disappointing this so far.

A question I have is I have T-Mobile and the phone switches from 3G to 3.5, I'm curious as to what 3.5 means and I'd assume the switch is because of tower issues.

Its not fully stable but its usable I've had it freeze a couple times.

Is there any way to add more than one data (non wifi) access point?

Is there a method to turn the FM transmitter on and off easily? Or am I stuck with the widget for that.

Also is there a method to see the email inbox on the desktop?

and how do I refresh a webpage, delete bookmarks or enter a web address via virtual keyboard (whenever I type the address shows but nothing happens, meaning it doesnt go to the website)?

And if I rotate my phone the phone app is supposed to come on right? I've waited minutes and nothing ever happened and I cant seem to find the option to add the phone app to every desktop.

I think there is an option to turn that on... try to search google or you could try youtube think I rememer seeing that one there.

You mean WAP, Mobileweb? doesn't look like it, probably because your sim only has one data connection type.

Don't know about refreshing or virtual keyboard but go select the planet earth icon and press the top bar and then press delete and now select the bookmark you wan to delete


Go to the phone app and press the top bar and select turning control, check 'launch by turning'

3G is when ur 3G is not active 3.5G is when it's active.

There's a widget for the FM trans...

There isn't one for emails yet *but mostly will*.

I seriously don't know how u manage to freeze ur n900 that easily i had it for a few weeks and it never happen to me.

on top of the broswer there's the of the page, top status bar in the center. Touch that and it would open more settings choices for you.
