Ordered 22.11. Voda 30+
Ready for dispatch since Friday.
No parcel, no email, no call.

But I have a new hobby: N900 status polling.
It's all badly done, really bad. I bet there were some heads rolling.

No, I got mine today. Ordered 19/11, switching from O2 to vodafone. When people started receiving ready for dispatch last week mine was still showing Pending PAC, so I sent them an e-mail asking what's going on and it changed to RFD on the next day. Not sure if the e-mail made any difference.

As has been suggested before the most likely explanation for people getting it out of order is that MPD sent the N900s out to their stores and from then it pretty much depends which store is handling your order - some stores go through the orders faster and some slower.

The device is awesome, definitely worth the wait. And no bugs so far, hopefully it's just a few that are defective.

This is heartening news for me - ordered a couple of days before you and am making the same journey between networks, so fingers crossed tomorrow! I've been proper patrolling the house waiting for the mail all week. Backshifts, eh?

On another note, had a wee false alarm this avo in the form of a call from Vodafone, slightly paraphrased:
[him]:"Hello I'm looking for Mr <my name>"
[me, thinking I need to confirm my card details]:"HELLOOOO!"
[him]:"I see you've been with us some time... no, actually, you've just joined - is everything working ok for you now?"
[me, heart rate returning to rest]:"Still waiting on the phone actually - N900"
[him]:"The N900 isn't out yet..."
[me]:"Maybe you'd be better phoning back next week."
[him]:"Good idea. Bye"

Good service that would have been, if I had the phone.

So they have notified Vodafone about the port then.. Is your O2 connection still working?

I am also O2 to Vodafone. I ordered 7/11 but I don't know if they notified Vodafone yet. I sent MPD an email if they need a new PAC code (guess what, no response).
