has this been logged as a bug??? i did use the wifi before hand. this could be it???

now ill make sure to switch my phone off ever time i use the wifi lol. dam

wht im going to do tonight is try to replicate this problem. ill have all the widgets running and have the phone on offline mode. tomorrow ill have the phone on offline mode again but this time ill turn all the widgets off to see if it makes a difference.

It's not really helpful to vote for a bug report that is extremely unclear and misses lots of information.
Also, it's simply invalid currently.
You have several 3rd party applications on your screen, like Dataplan monitor, IP address, brightness widget, Xeyes, or FM transmitter switch, and as I know that most of these are not from the Extras repository, but Extras-Testing or even Extras-Devel, this is very likely not a Maemo issue.

Apps in Extras-Testing and Extras-Devel may drain your battery. This is CLEARLY told to the user and not an issue of the Maemo platform itself.

I had this happen last night too. No applications were left on, put it in sleep with "Lock screen and keys". but I had half a charge and seven hours later the N900 was dead. First time I have left it and not charged over-night.

N900 apparently does not sleep too well.
