Works for me, I use RDesktop to get to my pc at work through the VPN connection.
The Following User Says Thank You to glasseur For This Useful Post: | ||
I have a point to point connection between my PC (IP 10.8.0.1) and the Noika N800 (IP 10.8.0.2) and can ping the N800 from the PC (and presumably could ping the other way too if I had ping on the N800.)
My intention in getting OpenVPN to work was
a) to use OpenVPN with VNC so that the VNC session to my PC would be secure
b) if possible, to use the OpenVPN connection to connect to my PC and then on to the rest of the Internet. I can do this with my laptop using OpenVPN when I am travelling, but the config files on my laptop and PC are very different to the ones used when connecting the N800 to the PC (a simple point to point link)
So my questions are:
How do I make the VNC traffic from my N800 go to my PC over the VPN
and
Is it possible to route all Internet traffic from the N800 over the VPN using the simple Point to Point link
Thanks for any pointers or help....
