This is a bug in the N900 as far as I can tell. I can send all contacts from my S-E phone to the N800. The S-E phone sends them as a single .vcf file. When I do the same to the N900 I get a not enough room error. It doesn't matter what I specify as destination, or if I select save or not.

At first I thought maybe the problem was that the N900 BT receiver always stores in /tmp independent of where you specify destination, because that's the only limited-size filesystem. But it turns out the .vcf file as a puny 14KB. So the bug must be elsewhere. Has anyone found a bug report matching this already?

Hrm...the only bug that may be of interest is this one:

but it's so scarce in details that it may or may not apply.
