Could someone post a list of related bug numbers or ideally links to bugzilla pages here to aid quick and easy voting please?

I have a Sennheiser MM200 and have alot of the same issues with bluetooth as well, mostly when connected to WIFI. When connected through edge I don't notice the problems. I tried plugging in headphones into the jack and had the same choppiness but the bluetooth headset was still active. As soon as I disconnected the bluetooth headset the choppiness left.

I'm having Bluetooth issues, quite a few.

I have 3 Headsets, all Jawbones. The Original, Jawbone 2, and Jawbone Prime. So this covers a number of years of Jawbone devices and Bluetooth technologies. When I use any of them with the N900, the audio is very choppy, pretty much highly irritating at best and unusable at worst. Use of anything audio-wise without the headset is perfect.

There is no difference in the impairment of the Jawbones, they all work the same, poorly with the N900. The work great with every other phone and computer I've used them with.

The fact that Nokia had issues with their own Bluetooth headset that they offered with the N900 initially suggests possible Bluetooth issues besides my own.

I thought it may be an app, so I deleted almost all of them, with no changes. So I thought well maybe a remnant or a program I couldn't see still running, or a lib goof. So I flashed the eMMC and FW and started over from scratch. I used the Bluetooth on the virgin system and same problems.

I also get issues trying to Pair and find my MacBook pro. The pairing with the jawbone prime is kinda buggy in that when It does the initial pairing, the only way to get out of the Bluetooth dialog is to reset the N900. The other two headsets work fine RE: pairing.

So, anybody else getting bad performance out of their Bluetooth headsets?

If you are please post what Headset you are using and the problems

If you are not, please post what headset you are using and how you would rate the performance.

I've been quite busy of late and haven't been able to investigate further.
I've had the exact same problem with my BH-800.

I'm having trouble with handsfree in my car. It pairs fine, even though I initially had to pair from the N900, didn't work in the other direction. I haven't noticed any connection drops either.

The audio however, is severely distorted. Both the ring tone and voice in both directions. Voices sound like robots only so extreme it is impossible to even guess what is being said.

No luck with turning off wifi and disconnecting/reconnecting "headset" on the N900.

I use the BH-900 headset and it looses the connection after about 3 minutes, sometimes already earlier.

I'm using Sony's DR-BT50's and they work pretty well (without wifi).

They stay connected and produce very sound quality (will be even better with an equaliser)

No hiccups thus far.

Just paired an Aliph Jawbone Prime. Pairing seemed to fail initially, then the two seemed to silently work things out between themselves -- a call came in and routed straight to the BT headset when I wasn't expecting it.

A bit later, some phone calls I initiated using the headset failed to route the audio through to my ear (other party hung up claiming they were talking but got no response from me.) However, after 3 or 4 repeats of this, the headset started working normally.

Perhaps Jawbones and the N900 start off on rocky footing, but through persistence and maturity manage to work things out amicably between themselves after a bit........

This will re-occur sometimes after the Bluetooth is turned off and on. The Pairing failure happens 100% of the time with mine and the Interface seems stuck and I had to reboot the N900 and even though it said failed pairing it was always paired. You may want to turn off BT and on again, reboot, etc. There will often be problems reconnecting to the Jawbone Prime. Would be great if you cut and pasted into te Bug Thread and voted for the bug.

hang tough.

I've been using the N900 from September. Well known fact; the FW versions up to W43 had big BT issues. I am on W47 and BT is MUCH better. I have a CK-300 in the car, and a BH-804 headset. Both work great now. Keep the faith!
