Hi

I have had my N900 for a couple of days and have been installing / uninstalling a few apps. I uninstalled a game (cannot remember the name, but it shows a broken screen) earlier today and I think at this point all of my repository entries were deleted.

In the application manager I have no catalogues etc. Could someone be kind enough to either point me to where the details are so I can re-add or post the details here.

I have re-added Maemo Extra's but it is the official Nokia updates and software repo's that came pre-installed on the N900 that I need.

Many thanks

Phil

I'll give you the info, but that story vaguely rings a bell, and I think it might be a bug (e.g. it might just not be displaying them). If you have the rootsh package installed, then try this first: close App Manager, open up X Terminal, and type:
root
and then:
apt-get update
and then try App Manager again.
I'll post the repo info momentarily

UPDATE: Here they are:
1)
Name: Nokia Applications
Address: https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/apps
Distribution: ./

2)
Name: Nokia System Software Updates
Address: https://downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/002
Distribution: ./

I think so, at least for the first while. I don't think they're currently listed anywhere newbies would think to look. And yes, I beat you More concisely, I might add, only the screenshots would be better for a sticky, I must admit. heh
