Could you explain a little bit more what settings do you refer to here? Sounds not like a behavior which was planned by the engineers :-)

The idea was to protect the users. And it was decided by security experts, not developers. The well-known fact is that security harms usability in most of the cases.

NOKIA needs to fire all the software writers and spend some money to poach good software developers from iphone

However, most probably this case is also not about sw. developers.

Thank you in advance.

Agree with small remark - full provisioning support requires quite huge reworking of the whole system.

And you are sure that you use MS Exchange 2007, right? I also guess (just to be specific), it is MS Exchange 2007 SP2, right?

Could you take the logs using the procedure described here: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5597#c26 and attach them to any of your posts or (better) create a bug at bugs.maemo.org?

Why dont you make necessities such as work email easy on this device???? I have an iphone that I wanted to dump for Nokia n900, but I tell you, iphone mail for exchange is superb. I can even search it on the phone and on the server, and never issues setting it up! [/B]
I am really sorry for the issues you are experiencing with our solution now.

Why do you have this feeling? If I were you I would be able to make this conclusion only after the (at least) first software update.

What is the proper int parameter to gconftool-2 to disable logging again?

It works over Wifi, but if i use TMO internet it does not.

Could you keep me updated with the results? If maemo MfE is doing anything bad (or unusual) from TMO network PoV, I will be more than happy to know what exactly we are doing wrong.

Thank you in advance.

Yes. They use 2.5.

I can generate a place for you to test against if needed.
Thanks, one of my colleagues has checked zimbra already. Looks like it will work after sw. update BUT we will do support Exchange 2003, not zimbra per se
