Hi Everyone,
New User on the Nokia N900, and as there is no N900 Calgary, I thought it will be good to get the help that is needed from all the members.

I have to say I am loving the Nokia phone and its about time they moved in this direction.

I do have a question that I hope you guys can help me with.

in the text messages when talking with someone I have noticed that the times are different. for example when I said a message it says 9:30am, but when I get a reply from someone who is in the same city as me the time says 4:30pm.

Make sure you set your Regional settings to "English (USA)" and then you need to choose the closest US city to you that is also in your time zone...

Maybe I should start a "N900 in Canada (Vancouver)"?

Sounds good. I'm on Vancouver Island...does that count? Got my N900 on Monday.

Cheers!

N900 in Canada (got one in Vancouver)
My question is also probably related to US/UK Settings.

my ForecaWeather Widget is in °C but the application is in °F
- if I restart the phone it defaults back to °F
- if I change the application settings to °C the widget switches to °F

its annoying for me as I done understand Imperial.
and i just want everything to be °C.
any suggestions?

I have a new question:
On the standard phones when calling when you press down on 1 it will call the voicemail. there is nothing on the N900 or am I missing something?
