Where exactly is it or how do you install it and set it up at ? I've flashed with the latest firmware, have the camera app etc., but am totally lost on the Gmail app..

For some reason the new N800 image didn't include the new apps like the FM radio or the other two.
But they are all in the Nokia standard repository, which should already be in your program catalogue. If you go to the application manager, tools, update appliction list (or program list, I'm not sure -- I'm not in the English locale so my version says something else), then look in the list of installable applications and you should find camera and mnotify there (and the fm radio too).

Thanks for the quick reply, but now I'm even more confused or maybe less confused, as it's just not showing up in the repository for me. Is it under the "main" Nokia reository or the 3rd party one, or is there a .deb (1 click install) for it out yet or do I have to "reflash" and re-install all my stuff <huff> again just to get that app ? Has anyone else had this problem as well since the update ?

It's supposed to be in the 'Nokia Catalogue', the one that if you go to the application manager/tools/application catalogue menu says 'Nokia Catlogue' and Details says 'http://catalogue.tableteer.nokia.com/certified/' and 'Distribution: bora' and 'Component: user'

EDIT: If you don't find it it could be that you have it installed already.. in the application manager, select installed applications and look for mnotify. If it's there (instead of in the list of installable programs) then go to control panel, select Navigation, Status and tick the right box in the list.

Whew, all I can is that was real close to wasting an hour or so of a reflash and re-install for nothing. After doing some searching and more searching and thanks also to TA-t3 and 9a6or it's not me.. Lol. Nokia have seemed to have removed it from the repository.. ?? Tableteer Gmail Notifier Link this is where the file should be, and this is the actual catalogue listing and "mnotify" is suspiciously missing.
