In fact I don't like the game because there's a hidden timer that will just suddenly cry 'you lose' after some undefined short time, with no indicator of anything running...

In fact I don't like the game because there's a hidden timer that will just suddenly cry 'you lose' after some undefined short time, with no indicator of anything running (unlike, say, tetris, where bricks are moving). I would have thought that the proper way to lose was to end up in a pattern where you can't go on.
