I am running X-terminal on an N900 with Swedish settings.

If I do e.g. apt-get I will get questions like:

Do you want to continue [Y/n]:

However, I must press "j" (for "ja" = "yes") in Swedish. On my Fedora laptop it honours both "y" and "j", which probably is the most sensible solution.

Thoughts anyone? Should I open a bug? Where?

Looks like a bug to me, yes. And the place to open one is bugs.maemo.org - probably under "Maemo Official Platform", then "System software".

I concur. Not exactly the highest of priorities but it would be sensible to be consistent in prompt and required input!

Bug submitted: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7042

Added thought: It might be a generic issue with apt. Any non English speaking Ubuntu or Debian users that can verify?
