The messages are not sent even if you are initiating manual sync by hand using control panel application (Press "Sync manually" button). But if you use Send&Receive from e-mail client, the messages are sent.

Could it be possible to have two MfE-calendars in N900? So that the public/normal events would go to normal calendar and the private ones in a private calendar. That way one could decide the publicity of the event by choosing the calendar, and one could decide the colours etc. also!

There is any hope what Maemo 6 will work with exchange 2003? When can we get next release of Maemo?

Someone has suggested to come around this issue by:
I found out that MfE uses certificates from /home/user/.activesync/certs which
has symlinks from /etc/certs/common-ca/. But the user imported sertificates go
to /home/user/.maemosec-certs/ssl-ca and these are not symlinked to the
activesync folder. After manually doing the symlink in xterm, I got the MfE
working.
Can you confirm that?

Especially the "provisioning" feature is a hindrance for many. This feature is intended to provide higher security by making sure the mobile device adheres to certain standards. The ability to completely wipe a mobile device remotely is an example of a requirement for "full" provisioning.
This is currently not possible with Maemo, because as a Linux OS, it's open and customizable, and it would require too many changes on the OS side for MfE to be able to support provisioning.
This will change in the next iteration of Maemo ("Harmattan" / Maemo 6), because it will have a dedicated DRM mode which allows the developers to implement the needed features for provisioning.
On the other hand this will make Maemo less open, which has been the topic of a heated discussion, but it will (most likely, nothing is certain at this point) satisfy the requirements for provisioning.
