Does anyone have such problem with their n900?

The 3.5mm jack of mine is totally not functioning. It can never detect any headphone or the tv-out cable that i plug in. Please note that the headphone and the tv-out cable is working well with my n95 8gb.

I have requested a replacement and i hope it will arrive soon.

What is the output of "dmesg | tail" in the X Terminal after plugging in and plugging out a headphone?

How many headphones did you try?

it doesn't make any difference, the output always shows nothing related to the headphones but a list of frequencies and then SCSI subsystem initialized and also driver 'sd' needs updating - please use bus_type methods while the last line is always slide (GPIO 71) is now open, which is obviously triggered by sliding out the keyboard.

I tried the headphone of my n95, then i also tried sonic gear and creative headphones, all of them work well but none of them work with my n900.
