How do I find the MAC address on my n800? My college WiFi uses MAC address filtering and they need to know what my n800 uses.

Also, is anybody here from Tennessee, specifically, do they go to University of Tennesse @ Knoxville, and even more specifically, have they been able to connect to our WiFi network on campus, and does it work well?

Easy way is to remove your battery cover and read whats next to WLAN, else type ifconfig in xterm.

As for connecting to the campus network, you have to find out what kind of security they use, if any. WEP is not a problem, neither is WPA, nor is a https login (like what they use on e.g. pay hotspots). VPN can be more tricky (_way_ more tricky), and e.g. leap doesn't work afaik.

Naw, don't have to worry about LEAP, we don't use Cisco networking equipment, and I don't recall what our wireless security is, other than a hidden SSID, which I assume is also not a problem. So basically it's a hidden SSID with WEP or WPA, one. But sounds like it'd work for me. Thanks!
