I second all your questions and raise you one answer...

I've never seen the Charge above 98%. And I saw that for the first time this morning. I've pulled it off the charger before with the light green and the Charge was 86%. I noticed it still says full to about 80%.

I'm curious, can I just turn off three of the screens and the widgets will not load on those screens? If I turn them back on, do I have to reconfigure them?

if you turn off the screens, all your bookmarks, widgets, shortcuts are gone.

I just unplugged mine and it said 96%. i guess it never fully gets to 100%. And if you remove 3 of the homescreens, you will have to reconfigure the pages again.

I charged my N900 Friday night. Used it on wi-fi for a couple of hours Saturday. GSM on all the time. Turned off GSM Saturday evening, on again Sunday morning. Went online via EDGE a few times Sunday. GSM off at night, on again Monday morning. Down to about hafl battery according to the status bar.

Not bad at all I think, and better than what I expected from the N900 before I got one.

I have experienced, too, a sudden increase of battery performance. This happened after a reflash (I had been able to brick my device by installing 2 different cpu/mem load applets from the repos). Luckily, after reinstalling everything, the almost constant dripping of power from my battery, whatever the device was doing, even with low cpu load, seems to have stopped. Also, the firmware is the same that the unit sported when I received it.

I have 1 day and 16h on battery right now and 7% remaining.
Have made about 45min of phonecalls. Exchange sync active from 8am to 8pm. Listened about 3h of podcast. Installed couple of programs about 30min of that. Surfed web for 15min. And used only 2.5G network.
And right no about 30min installing hamachi

FWIW, I notice that my battery seems to last forever while it's just chilling at my house with wifi on (and GSM or 3g) but when I take it to work and it has just a 3g or 2.5g connection, it drains in about 12 hours.

mine has got better too.

connected to 2G and the work wifi all day long.

battery still 95% after 4 hours, whereas previously i would expect to be around 70% by now.

as originaly posted in the thread below, there is a wifi bug which continues to drain the battery in about 6hours even after you turn wifi off.

the fix is to turn it off then reboot or to turn it off and disable it from x-terminal.

please read this thread for more details.
