The FCC documents (including User Guide) have been released. Based on this, I would guess a February release in NAM if there are no SW issues.

Are N900 and X10 the ONLY TS phones with zoom HW buttons?

Which way are you using the term "NAM"? specifically meaning AT&T/Rogers 3G spectrum, or more genericaly "North America"?

More generically in the industry sense. They are producing a Euro variant and a NAM variant. Nokia did this with N95 and some other phones.

AWS is not compatible with AT&T/Rogers; it is used in North America (t-Mobile in US and Wind in CA).

Yes, I know AWS isn't compatible with AT&T/Rogers (though, there are devices that will do both). The question is more about distinction: a LOT of the blogosphere uses NAM to mean "AT&T/Rogers 800/850+1900 frequencies", because for several years that's all that there was for UMTS in North America. So, it's kind of unclear to say "NAM", as a result.
