It seems that File Manager can't rename filename. As File Manager, it should have capability to 'delete', 'move', 'rename' and 'open' the file (and new folder).

Can someone add it back?

you can do all them things
touch and hold file and you'll get pop up for all them options you talk about
for new folder click where it says file manager at top of screen

oh, thanks... i don't know I can 'hold' the screen for option other than the browser.

but why not this function appear on the top menu?

Its called Context Sensitive Menu (CSM) and they are essential in touchscreen UI as there is no cursor and right-clicks. Its more likely that a selectable item has a CSM than not.

If it was on top menu, how would the app know what item you mean as there is no active (pre-selected) mode in touchscreen UI?
