When I try to access Netvibes, it stalls at the initial loading page saying it is taking too long to load. Are there workarounds or fixes anyone is aware of? More broadly, what aggregators are folks using on the N800? What are the advantages/disadvantages of using a net-based aggregator v. the RSS and other native features of the N800? It seems with the N800 geared to surfing anywhere, a net-based aggregator is the way to go (if you can find one that works!), but maybe there are performance or other reasons to use the N800 features?

readermini.com works well for me. but then, it uses google reader. readermini is made to be light on mobile devices. check it out.

As for Netvibes, have you tried adjusting your general settings (remove excess) and also choosing a simpler template?

Netvibes does not support the version of Opera that runs on the 770 (and probably the N800 too), due to heavy AJAX use, so it won't load, period.

If you really want to see Netvibes on your tablet you'll have to install minimo.

That being said, AFAIC using Netvibes just as an RSS aggregator sounds like firing up a bulldozer to lift a sack of potatoes. There are many lightweight, non-AJAX Web sites that do only RSS and work just fine on the tablet(s). Myself I use Bloglines on my desktops at home & work, and on the 770 (in "mobile" mode), with no problems.
