Well, for those with an i386 tag in their filename: they are for the x86 architecture and won't install on an armel target (such as the N900), so those won't be needed.

Once those are out of the equation, you should be able to install the rest.

BUT, why are you installing those packages by hand (with dpkg I suspect)? You should really be using the integrated package manager, which will sort out everything for you (I'm assuming this is on a real device and not in the development environment?)

OK, I've re-read your post, and you really shouldn't use the red-pill mode if you are uncomfortable with using dpkg by hand! That mode is supposed to be used by people knowing what they are doing, and able to fix potential errors made when in red-pill mode.

I'm now wondering how many of the "I bricked my phone" threads around here stem from careless usage of the red pill...(OK, I'll stop rambling and go back to my hole )

install them through red pill mode.
You shouldn't see the i386 packages in Application Manager, even in Red Pill mode.

Which repo is this you're using?

Sorry for the Wrong question asked ??? I am new to linux...

Based on what i understand in last 12 hours . I want to know how to install an application and packages required by it manually.
I first download them through internet, then on to the tablet.
I am dowloading from Fremantle-Extras.
I cant download directly from tablet as the my service provider is charging me heart and liver for 1 MB download.

if it's really only about the traffic, and you don't have the option of connecting your Tablet via a cheap WLAN to the internet, may i suggest you use USB Networking.

this way you can use your computer's internet connection without having to use additional hardware for WLAN etc.

edit:
although you might have to install rootsh over your expensive connection first, because you need it to activate usb networking. but that's only a small package and doesn't have any dependencies, so it shouldn't be too bad...
