the first time I tried using Pidgin it worked great, connected up all of my accounts, worked like a charm.

But now if I re-open it, nothing seems to work? Am I missing something?

I've tried changing my status from Offline to Available, but nothing. sometime if i manually disable and account and re-enable it, that account alone will work, but that account only works some of the time. Very buggy.

Press the battery on the screen (the upper part of the screen) and just check if internet is connected!!! Pidgin won't work if you didn't already activated internet

Have the same issues too, MSN seems to connect fine,
but ICQ AND Yahoo doesn't work for me.
I also can't seem to get the notifier to install either...

Tried every available option that I could think of
but still no progress in connecting.

Really like Pidgin ( the part that works) so hope this will be fixed soon !

UPDATE: just got a new version message .

At first glance something has changed....
the notification icon is present at the top of my screen, but guess the not working issue of my accounts is still there...

I'm 100% sure i'm connected to the internet.

I didn't see any Pidgin updates.. do you have devel-repos turned on? Either way, still having this issue.

I didn't get the update like my others (pushed update)
but ended up with a link to the website of pidgin,
(am not sure how I got it actually, guess just while fiddling with the app)

(as you can see it is Dutch/Flemish version)
maybe that is why I got a update (regional???)

But alas...my issues with Yahoo and ICQ are there too ...
MSN is working tho...

Getting MSN issues, it doesn't connect all the time.

that's interesting, anyone have MSN not working?

I have AIM and Yahoo not working, but I don't use MSN.

I use gmail chat as well on pidgin that seems to work without any issues. Msn is not as reliable for some reason...
