First, thanks to the developers! I was badly missing an e-book reader in my N900.
As soon as I saw it today, I promptly installed the fresh new (1/1/2010) version of FBReader for the N900, but I couldn't find how to change the fonts or font sizes?
Any suggestions?

EDIT:
Found it! I couldn't see the whole preference options. You have to click on the left and right to scroll horizontally! Now, to read!

I would guess the promoted to extras overnight. I'm busy downloading a shelf-full of books right now!

hy there from germany... can the fbreader read the wikipedia dictionary...just like the mobireader did on my s60 devices from nokia ( n73 n97...).. what kind of format should the files be??? on my s60 device the mobireader needed " .prc " and ".mbp"-files... who knows what to do to get the offline-wikipedia started???

It's Fbreader 0.10.7-9. Just fresh in extras for Maemo 5.

FBReadersupports many formats. If you already have the .prc files, push them onto your N900 and then you should be able to add each onto the the library individually. Or download the in MobiPocket format, which has worked nicely for me.

so i just tried to add the .prc files... but the program said :"couldn't open. unsupported compression method" ...what does that mean?? or, if you could help me by quoting a link where i can download the right files in german language??? that would be nice

Unsupported compression method means "hey, however they put this file together, I don't understand it!"

www.gutenberg.org has some files in German; I don't know how many. Several formats it carries are supported by FBreader. My favorite is the .epub format. I don't know German, so I don't know the German ebook sites, but I'm sure there are lots of them.
