This edition seems to have slightly better voice quality, I called the GF using it and she said it sounded like a landline whereas before it was cell or worse quality.
The test now is to see if it can stay on all night without rebooting the tablet.

updated gizmo to 3.0.0.66 on the n800 and tried it out. so far voice quality on both ends of a conversation is much improved over the two previous versions i've installed. update was easy.

Managed to keep Gizmo running overnight two nights in a row, the battery which was about full bars was pretty well drained however, so it looks like you might have to keep the N800 unit plugged in. I also managed to register a secondary SIP service that I have had for about 3 years (Stanaphone) and that also works well for receiving calls, this only seems to register about 1 out of every 3 times?
Anyway the 3.0 beta seems to be much better than the first release.

Sounds like they fixed the memory leak issue which was causing crashes in previous versions.
