This should be a software problem so re flashing will certainly fix it. However, I would go into Application manager and go into each repository definition and disable each one Via the check box, and then work from there to determine which one is not working. The last or near last line in the log should show which repository address cannot be reached.

Just for grins see if you can install Xterm http://test.maemo.org/downloads/syst...uct_dba_page=3
it should be 1/2 way down the page. If you can then follow the link I posted earlier. If you can not install Xterm what about re-flashing your N800?

Man that is strange.Did you do a backup before the re-flash and then used that backup? If so what about re-flash without a backup?
