I was wondering if there is a way I can edit what application launchers are displayed on the first page of application you click into on the N900. There are more than a couple icons included on the first page by default that I personally will never use and would like to replace them with commonly accessed applications.

We are all hoping the next firmware will allow us to remove/re-arrange/delete these..

Ahh I was afraid of that xD. Has Nokia put an ETA on said firmware update?

Ahh yes, I saw this - might give it a try later this afternoon - its not quite what I am looking for but it is better than the defaults...

There is. It's not difficult also. Just need to edit some files.
See my screenshot below. I created 2 sub-folders.
(Also, few apps have been moved to this main menu)
