Yes you can get rid of the one in mydocs and then cd to the /etc/systemui directory and do a ls there and see what files are there. If you only have the one systemui.xml file there what I would do is do a:
cp systemui.xml systemui.xml.bak
then leafpad the .bak file and change it back to original by moving the <!-- back up above the <menuitem> tag for reboot.
That way you have an original just in case.

Ive got the full versions of duke nukem 3d atomic edition and quake 3,
plus openarena, doom (shareware) and they all work flawlessly.
so far ive hacked my N900 quite a bit:
-removed boot video (can also use custom video, but i prefer none)
