for those who like their window managers stupendously light... can i recommend ratpoison. it runs wonderfully well in easy debian, and uses no screen realestate whatsoever.
not recommended for those who find the command line scary!

Flynx: can you be more specific with your bug report?
I purposely changed the name of the mounting folder to /.debian to keep it from being indexed, yes, but why did you need to unhide it? Can you run "sudo closechroot", change the directory name back to /.debian, then run and post the output of "sudo debian" please?
~ $ sudo debian No chroot dir specified; using /debian No image file or partition specified. Mounting... using image file: /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v2.img.ext2 fs type is ext2 Using ext2 file system mounting /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v2.img.ext2 on the slow Fremantle-loop ;) Cancelling chroot... ~ $

i tested opening oo writer and it took more than a minture to fully load. I didn't try ff but i assume it will be similar. easy debian itself runs smooth and beautifully but program still have trouble. hope this help somewhat.
