I Would like to ask you for games such as Rollercoaster Tycoon , Diablo II and UrbanTerror (Not the QIIIArena mod, but version 4.1, standalone open source version)

Is it possible ?

Thx

A few suggestions that would be cool with source available.

- UFO: Alien Invasion - an original 3D game in the spirit of the old UFO/X-COM games
- UFO2000 - an open source game engine for the old X-COM: Ufo Defense / UFO: Enemy Unknown game
- FreeDink - a hack'n'slash adventure released for free with source
- Chaos Strikes Back - an engine for the Dungeon Master games
- Dune 2 - a game engine for Dune 2

What about Heroes of Might and Magic 3?

Or for that matter, the fan-made remake-ugrade to that same game Heroes of Might and Magic 3: In the Wake of Gods? It must have the source available if there is a fan-remake of the game, right?

And of course, this game with acceleometer control would be outrageous! Magic Carpet
What a good time that game was, and it didn't even have 3D rendering.

Yes, as a quick search would show. http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...&highlight=goo

We're on the same wavelength. I looked around to see what options there are for that. I think it works in dosbox, but that's not an ideal solution. The most complete clone i found is java-based. I considered doing a more modern clone using Ogre3D but that's a much more major project than i have time for. There's a partly done version like that already, but i didn't mark the page and that must have been for a good reason (probably not GPL license or something).

IMO, Magic Carpet and Descent were the most amazing games of the early WWW days. I still remember how slow the demo download was on the modem.

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?
MAME: an arcade in your pocket
Accelemymote: make your accelerometer more joy-ful

Gosh I wish someone would port Counter-Strike (I know it's not possible right now though because it's closed-source)....
