I'm having an issue with IM chats updating. I don't know if anyone else is getting this, and can't remember if this ever did work.

If you go into conversations / go into a Google IM with someone. I IM them, but when they reply back, the chat I'm in doesn't get updated. I get the sound notification, and if I back out to the conversations window it shows the new message. I have to exit out of the IM and select the message again in Conversations to see the reply.

Happening to anyone else? Wasn't sure if the conversations widget was causing this somehow, so I uninstalled / rebooted, but it's still happening.

Another issue is with MSN integration. I tried Pecan / Haze / Pidgin... as soon as I install them I can connect to MSN no problem. After a certain time however I get Network error, and from them on it never allows me to login.

Any ideas

The issue is annoying. Maybe voting the bug will get it fixed faster.

I also had that problem (the non-updating chat windows) and also thought it was from the conversations desktop widget but it isn't. In my case, however, it only starts happening once in a while and a reboot usually cures it.
I have a feeling that this only happens on very long chats/chat history but have no way to back this up.

I have this suspicion also.
