If something, you need to download the deb and install it by hand (dpkg -i yourdebhere.deb).
Are we able to install any of the games from the "OS2008" list there? There are lots of games I'd like to try. Been dreming of FreeCiv on a handheld for a while!

You can TRY but don't know about working properly. I also install aisleriot and FULLSCREEN it too. I have to turn it off with the camera key app.

Well yeah, duh! %^) Ovistore makes it a little simpler.

I still want access to lots of those apps in the OS2008 column, though. FreeCiv, somebody?!?!

The easiest way I find to quit a program without opening the keyboard is to press the power button and then choose "end current task".

Has anyone tried this one from the Ovi store? http://store.ovi.com/content/23619

EDIT: oops sorry, not for N900.

I find the solitaire game in ovi store very weak: no alternative settings at all - no way of, for example. drawing three cards instead of one, or passing through the pach only once/three times. I'd love a really good solitaire.

Yeah, same here. Is there a more complete Solitaire game out there yet?

Where to download the deb file?

Being a smartass, I'll tell you, there's browser for that!

works absolutely fantastic, you just need to use mouse cursor mode.
EDIT: there is also offline version available http://worldofsolitaire.com/WorldOfSolitaireOffline.zip
