By removing the option Nokia has at least raised the knowledge level required to install debs manually to "Knows what xterm is and command line"+"Needs root access and understands how to get it"+"Has an understanding of dpkg or apt".
But without root, without Install from File, and without Red Pill mode... how do they install the rootsh package??

I can help. If not me then somebody will do it. Because it is the only way after red pill disabling in some cases.

Removing Red Pill at this point does remove 1 specific functionality in a very specific case - and it's a case that *has* happened, so it's not a hypothetical case either. The only question would remain is how *often* it would happen, and whether it's even worth worrying about.
