My battery life has decreased significantly after the minor update from the same settings and same 3rd party apps installed, before the update I was getting 14-16hrs> After getting the update it has dropped to hardly 6 hrs and my CPU usage shows red or say 100% most of the times now, which it rarely did.
anybody having this issues beside me?

Run a top and find out what proc has your cpu pegged. Should be a fairly easy debug.

Open up the terminal/x-terminal

Type in "top" without the quotation marks and hit enter.

Whatever's the top process that has high CPU usage is likely causing the issue.

i had same problem. i figured out that mission-control process is the battery eater. isn't it part of telepathy? my msn doesn't work neither and i uninstalled that plugin and high cpu usage is gone, but now the device has been boot up many many times in last 6 hours and my smss are't working anymore.

Mine shows /usr/bin/Xorg - logf.....(with the highest CPU% usage)

Also /usr/bin/hildon <---(use a lot of memory)

How do i figure out what the heck is that?

before micro update - i could only charge the battery to 1153ma on full charge. After micro update it charges up to 1222ma. Battery max/design report 1258ma.

So something seems to have changed. But still do not like it wont charge unless you are at less than <90% battery.

hildon is the desktop

if you're not familiar with Linux and the cmd prompt then I would experiment on a PC before you brick your phone.
