Good to know!, you tried using Vodafone push email service with the n900 ? the chap who sold me the phone was adamant that they support it , I was not convinced lol (sorry if this is off topic everyone!)

No, I haven't used that. I've used the exchange features.

The bug tracker for bug 7896 had been updated to say the Vodafone issue is not as simple as they thought and that Vodafone have to approve the updates. That doesnt sound too good...

I'm on Vodafone and i've updated my phone to the latest update (.51) with no problems at all. I updated through the Application manager using WiFi.

It sounds like vodafone have to sign off on the whole image, but possibly not on the individual packages (for now...). That would appear to explain why the update repo can work for .51, but why Nokia aren't allowed to put up a .51 image on tablets-dev for the 205

Makes me think that moving to 203 is a good idea, before vodafone interfere any more!
