Ok like I said on the other thread, basically that it really doesn't matter to have FULL portrait mode for EVERYTHING on Maemo 5 anymore since probably 99% of us are used to portrait mode by now.
And that the Maemo team have made it clear that FULL portrait mode is coming in Maemo 6.
But I was saying to qgil that they should meet us in the middle on this and that they should at least add the following:
Portrait mode for: Conversations and Media Player.
Add the support for T9 keyboard in virtual keyboard (only does that when the N900 detects that it's on the portrait mode).. And this is for entering text to MicroB while in portrait mode.
I don't really see the use for Media player, but conversations and email could definitely use portrait mode, maybe one day calendar (although landscape is definitely better when looking at a whole week)
As for T9, I could go for swype, makes more sense (it's by the guys who made T9 btw)
