Somehow I found this quote funny...haha...
Ironically with the possibility of Rogers charging for tethering...the N900 might be my data plan strategy. I love using my N810 tethered to my E65...if they start charging extra for tethering then I can just put that extra $ towards my N900 purchase.

Anyone else here on Fido prepaid? Two days ago, they started (with very little/no fanfare) the option to buy for $1 24-hour unlimited on-device browsing.
They probably are guessing that no smartphone user is using a prepaid plan, but this is a great option for occasional data users...
Still, I'd want them to allow tethering (accepting some reasonable data limit) so I can use my N800 with my 5200 as bluetooth modem.
