quick read whole thread. why everyone is worried here? there are other n900 forums few or none was reporting same issue. in this thread, only ppl with pre-production devices reported thee issue. plus, nokia says the issue is addressed. i wont do anything to my cable connector until i see real proof that it still a problem.

it is hard to remove the charger and i have charged lots of time now and the usb port is still in place. mine's production week is week 50.
i just tried to plug in and out with my n97 charger it seems much easier to remove. is it possible becase the chargers which are distributed with n900 have stronger hook chip(possible defects)?
btw my n97 charger has black fasten strip on the wire anmy n900 has white.
just for safe i will use my n97 charger from now on
