This does not work. It goes to use it, and asks me everytime for the passcode again and then I enter it, and the connection fails

Soft reset (hit the rest button beside the battery) the Treo 650 and try again.

Well Reggie,

What did you do because there are obvious issues with a zillion other people and a developer. I would also consider myself a VERY savvy Treo user and have numerous other devices connected to it. I called Nokia back again and got the standard "we only tested it with Nokia phones" so another SOL call to Nokia. I think it will be going back and hello Palm Lifedrive.

I will try to find a Cingular SIM soon so I can try it on my Treo 650. I will report back what I find out.

I've updated http://maemo.org/maemowiki/BluetoothDUN with info about the Sony Ericsson W800i and Motorola E815, which both work.

Thanks for the posts, fellas, and for the BTDUN
link, tnkgrl...very helpful. So, before I buy
the 770 and a phone, does someone know where a
compatiable yet inexpensive one can be found?

Ciao, greencloudz =)

Another couple phones: The moto v360 pairs on the 1st try. The MPX220 smartphone can be paired to the device if you become root and open bluetooth, but have no option for DUN. (File transfer only) The moto v600 did not work at first, but after repeatedly hitting OK, it bonded. I am waiting for the new samsung t809 and the moto PEBL in the mail and will update as soon as i see if they bond and DUN works. (on a side note, it also did bond with the verizon "V" but that's all i did.)

Info on the t809 would be great. Also, the DUN wiki should include info on which phones do not.work

I have a Nokia 6256i which I would like to try with the 770. I have paired the two devices but do not know how to setup the DUN connection settings. Do I have to have a VZW data plan or is there any way just to use my plan minutes for these data calls?

Thanks,
David
