I think it is your WifFi MAC address or your Blutetooth address, one of them will work.

Look under battery or UPC sticker on box.

I flashed the emmc with vanila firmware, then connected the device to NSU and it picked up the update 2.xxxxxxx51 and i done that and it installed fine an had no problems and ive noticed its faster. No auto rotate tho? Anything else in this new firmware that is gud apart from looking a bit sleeker an performing faster?

bare in mind i never done the .44 update, it never came up so i just selected what NSU was showing me.
Is that going to be a problem.....? Ovi store works fine an ive dwnloaded a few apps, which work okay.
Altho i did read somewhere that mentioned the 2.xxxxx.51 update includes the .44 update, so it should be okay then? or have i got it wrong

If you used NSU then there's no need to install any intermediate firmwares. OTA updates will probably require installing intermediate versions though (the 44 update was definitely required to do an OTA update to 51).

I notice on the tablets-dev.nokia firmware download site that there is a UK firmware for the 42.11 build:

RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.42-11.203.2_PR_COMBINED_203_ARM

But for the PR1.1 update there is only firmwares for USA, Middle East & North Africa and Global.

Am I correct in using the Global firmware to flash my UK N900?

If I use Nokia's NSU will that flash using the Global Firmware or does NSU have access to a UK variant?
