Someone requested the firmware from me so i made a torren for the following files:

RX-51_2009SE_2.2009.51-1_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin
MDSUM

The root image is for all European countries.

Ow and if you download it, please seed, i'll keep it up for a day or two.

Rename the txt file to .torrent

use it for everything apart from US and Asia.

quick tuturial:

download flasher
install
download firmware
download install.bat
move firmware and install.bat to C:\Program Files\maemo\flasher-3.5
plug usb into computer only
run install
and hold U on the n900 keyboard and plug in usb to n900
should connect then start to install (takes about 90seconds)
boot up your n900

but use your heads as this is my region(Global) and there are 3 different ones, Global, US, Asia
Im doing just like you said after executeing the bat file, I get the message; Suitible USB device not found, waiting.

After that I plug in my n900 while pressing U.
Nothing happens after that?

Any suggestions?

I have the same problem "Suitible USB device not found, waiting." can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

is the phone off, before you press u and insert usb?

Yes and I get the Nokia screen with the small USB logo in the top right corner..

i have not had this happen to me yet, cant think of a reason for it not to work!

cant do any research now, got to get to work in 20mins,
but if you dont have an answer by time a go to break i'll have another go. lol
