I'm planning on changing my email service provider and Ovi Mail seems to be a nice alternative. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about it? I have an email alias so I can direct the mail anywhere I want and I'll be using the service primarily through Thunderbird. I'd like to find a reliable email provider that doesn't read my email for advertising purposes but still has a hefty inbox...

I think Ovi mail is fairly good, but very slow.

When using an ordinary browser, no matter where I am, Ovi mail always suggest that I should use the "slow bandwith version".

when using the N900 it takes quite a while to load the inbox.

I think gmail is a better option.

After a few days of using it does seem to be extremely slow. I thought it might be limited to the www-client, but it's painstakingly slow through IMAP as well. I sent them a message asking what's going on. At least now it seems that ovi mail isn't yet ready for serious use
