So I went to call a family member using skype from the n900 and kept getting incorrect address.

I'm kinda bummed that skype for the n900 does not pull the skype address book. In theory that would solve the problem.

So here is the deal. I have to add a + to the being of the number for it to make a skype call. So all in all the skype call button in contacts is useless! I have to add the + manually or create a new field with the + and phone number. It turns out to be a hack job.
So doing the above would leave me with one number listed multiple times with multiple formats. My SIP stuff works....no problems. Skype on the other hand..... a big
I wish skype would also enable video on the n900, but I'm fairly sure it will never happen.

So does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere I can place a + for all skype calls so I can clean my address book up?

So I guess its a safe bet to say there is no way to fix this...?

I don't think it's possible yet, for now I think the easiest method is to add a separate entry with the country code in the contacts for all the frequent contacts. For a quick call you could select the dialpad and select skype call from top and enter number and dial I believe there was a bug report about this somewhere...

someone knows if skype will allow video on n900 soon?

For my skype on N900 works very well.

I've a question about Skype on N900 but I don't want to start a new thread.. so my question is: how can I configurate a Skype account form N900?
Seems like we can no more access with a Skype name but only with a MS account.
I've tried to sign in with my MS mail but it says me "Wrong username or password". I've tried to sign in also with the Skype name but it says me "Account to be registered".
If I change password I can only change the MS account's password..

Nobody has the same problem?

I haven't used Skype on my phone (or in general) for months. I've just logged in with my previously saved credentials and it worked right away. I do have an MS account (a hangover from my previous job) but my Skype name/password are different.
