Hi,

As I play mostly open source games since years I thought I provide a listing of what I think has good quality and s fun to play. Some are not 100% complete yet but make fun to play, so I listed them as well.
The source for finding opensource or linux games in general I like and use most is www.happypenguin.org, it contains a massive database of games running on linux that were created or released the last ten years. If you know more really good open source games then let me please know.

In this game, you ride a lightcycle around the game grid. You can only make sharp turns of 90 degrees and a wall constantly builds up after you. Make your enemies crash into your wall, but be aware that they are trying to do the same to you.

Chromium B.S.U.

I'll complete the list with more games as soon as more come to my mind: The descriptions are taken from the home pages or happypenguin. I'll try to build the non 3d games myelf and will let you know if I succeed, for the 3D games it might make sense to contact the author if he is willing to help with a port as there is some patching necessary in order to get openGL games to run with openGLes if I understand correctly. Does anyone know of a good guide on this topic, then I'd also give it a shot.

Impressive list, I haven't heard about SoulFu and looks very well.

Nice list, I'd add these that I haven't seen mentioned on TMO before either:

Powermanga - quite polished space shooter
rrootage - shmup, some other shmups by Kenta Cho are also available
Trophy - a top-down racing game
