Bought a Globalsat BT-359 gps for my N800. I am very satified.First of all, it cost only $29 including shipping (new, not used). It uses an N800 USB cable that charges the unit from the included home charger and included car charger. It also charges off the USB port of a computer. Cold startup time is about 45 seconds, warm startup about 5 seconds. Works great on dashboard of car or holding while walking (works great if placed under a cap on your head). In some areas it will not work in your pocket. It is rated at 11 hours of continuous operation. If it looses blue tooth pairing it will turn off after 10 minutes. This feature can be disabled by a switch in the battery compartment. Battery is replacable and costs $10. Size is about 3.25 X 1.6 X .5 inches. As for as sensitivity, it works inside of my house and in the building where I work. Of course, you will get a faster "fix" if you go outside. The detail is so good in Maemo Mapper, that when I use the VE Sat map with zoom set at zero, I can determine what room of my house it is in.

Trying to get my N800 working with the BT-359CS. N800 cannot pair to the device. What OS are you using? I'm trying OS2008 5.2008.43-7

Thanks!

I found the answer. This is my first experience with Bluetooth, and I failed to realize that the passkey code was device specific. 0000 worked perfectly with the BT-359CS, and I am now paired and GPSing.
